The team would like to discuss and share how the Plan, Do, Check and Act/Adjust cycle was used during the Design/Pre-construction phase to help the team stay focused, aligned, collaborating and brought the project back on track. We will show how owner’s original vision (Design/cost/schedule) during RFP got derailed and how the team worked together to stay focused on that vision. Pre-construction finished in January 2020 and the project has just broken ground. The IPD team would like to present the initial misunderstanding, miscommunication & misalignment and how the Team adapted basic principles (Trust, open and honest communication and transparency) of an Integrated Project Delivery and brought project back on track during the Design/pre-construction phase.
