HGA

As civil engineer for this landmark Twin Cities sports facility on a tight downtown site, HGA provided a wide range of service that included relocation of public utilities, storm drains, sanitary sewer and water main, as well as site demolition, mass grading plan and final grading plan. HGA designed all site circulation and service areas and the storm-water management system. HGA also led the public agency approval process with the City of Minneapolis and MnDOT and coordinated with all transportation infrastructure projects, including the North Star Commuter Rail, Hiawatha LRT extension, the Cedar Lake bicycle trail, and the BNSF railroad relocation.

Working for Hennepin County, HGA prepared drawings for property acquisition and air rights leases. HGA's relationships with multiple units of government helped facilitate the project.
