HGA is working with Schooley Caldwell Associates to implement a phased restoration of the Minnesota State Capitol to upgrade building infrastructure, security requirements and code compliance. Renovation and restoration includes expanding space to establish secure infrastructure, additional office space, a new tunnel connection, a 500-seat multi-purpose auditorium, a new visitor entry, and a relocated Aurora Avenue. New work space created during Phase One will serve as "swing space" for Capitol tenants disrupted during Phase Two work, which includes comprehensive restoration of the existing Capitol building and full utilization of the expanded space.

Estimated completion is 2015.
