The campus presents an elegant arrival se­quence through wetlands. The collegiate-style architecture unites several low-rise limestone buildings within the garden-like setting. The first phase includes 450,000 square feet of space for 1,100 employees in the Corporate, Research and Neurological Services groups. A campus commons includes food service, a fitness center, library, and an auditorium. Work spaces focus on a departmental neighborhood model. These neighborhoods form larger communities, which relate to each other through primary commons areas.
