Overview
This multi-phased expansion and renovation of the Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology departments utilize Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM), elevating the children's hospital into the national top-tier for integrated research and care.

HGA facilitated a series of four-hour interactive workshops with the hospital stakeholders (physicians, staff and user groups) focused on the ideal patient experience. The team formed three subgroups-Inpatient, Outpatient, and Sedation-to determine the Voice of the Customer through interviews, journaling, brainstorming and narratives. The team then identified ways to improve patient and staff satisfaction, create more efficient work flows, optimize space layouts and reduce operational costs.
