HGA Architects and Engineers (HGA) has hired Athira M. Nandanam, LEED AP, as a project designer specializing in healthcare and laboratory design in the Rochester office.

She will be an integral team member as HGA expands its expertise in laboratory planning for healthcare, bio-business and research-based clients regionally and internationally.

Nandanam has more than six years professional design experience nationally and internationally. Before joining HGA, she worked with Miles Associates, Inc., in Oklahoma City, as a project coordinator on healthcare, laboratory and research-based projects for leading healthcare providers. She also worked at Gredeco-Ansari Consultants in Manama, Bahrain, as a junior architect on commercial architecture throughout the Middle East.
