The Empathy Effect: Mixed Reality for Design

Emerging technologies are giving us the ability to better understand the buildings we design and the people who inhabit them. In this presentation, Jonathan B. Bartling, AIA, will explore how layering design, technology and data are transforming the way we deliver the built environment. The “Empathy Effect Prototype” is a virtual reality platform that allows users the ability to experience ailments that trouble the elderly population.
